I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration in 2004 and my eyes were so bad that I was unable to drive at night because the white line in the road was distorted and the tail lights of a car in front appeared at different heights. If I looked at peoples faces, their lips appeared slanted. I could not watch my favourite sport of rugby, or even read about it in the papers. We live in a rural area and we were having to consider moving. Someone recommended New Focus and I started taking it at 6 sprays a day. I also eat plenty of blueberries. Things stayed much the same, not getting any worse, for about 2 years, but then started to gradually improve. I am delighted to tell you that I am now almost back to normal and able to enjoy my rugby. I am also a County Councillor. I am so impressed, I rang in to Radio Cwmru yesterday and over 20 people have rung me about it.

Cataracts and GHN

Mrs Abrahart had been treated for cataracts for 8 years only to be told they had got it wrong and it was macular degeneration, they actually said there is nothing we can do for you so good day! She went home and cried but being a great believer in alternative medicine found information about New Focus and read some more, she started taking it in July 08 and on a recent routine check up was 'over the moon' to be told that whatever she was doing was improving the macular.
